Baron Davis, Stephen Jackson, Al Jefferson Among Stars Returning To The Court In Charlotte
May 22, 2019 – BIG3 – the professional 3-on-3 basketball league founded by producer, actor, and music legend Ice Cube and entertainment executive Jeff Kwatinetz – announced select cites and dates on the 2019 schedule ahead of the highly anticipated third season of summer basketball.
BIG3 action will come to Charlotte’s Spectrum Center on Saturday, June 29 at noon ET. Tickets are on sale now at BIG3.com/tickets, spectrumcentercharlotte.com, ticketmaster.com, the Spectrum Center Box Office, all Ticketmaster outlets or by phone at 800-745-3000.
The three contests being played in Charlotte will be Enemies vs. Ball Hogs, Trilogy vs. Triplets and 3s Company vs. Killer 3s. The matchups feature a pair of players selected last season to the Charlotte Hornets 30th Anniversary Team, Baron Davis (3s Company) and Al Jefferson (Triplets), while Killer 3s is captained by Stephen Jackson. Additional players who spent time in Charlotte during their NBA careers include Alan Anderson (Triplets), Jason Maxiell (3s Company) and Jannero Pargo (Triplets).
During the upcoming 11-week BIG3 season, games will air live on CBS Television Network and CBS Sports Network on both Saturdays and Sundays, with a champion crowned live on CBS on Sunday, September 1. CBS Television Network will broadcast more than 20 hours throughout the season, with CBS Sports Network set to televise more than 25 hours of additional live game coverage.
