Frances Tiafoe vs Taylor Fritz & Madison Keys vs. Venus Williams
CSF is excited to announce the return of the Charlotte Invitational – the fan-favorite, premier tennis event that took the Queen City by storm last year – along with this year’s elite matchups.
Returning for its sophomore season, the 2025 Charlotte Invitational will host last year’s Charlotte Invitational champions, Madison Keys and Frances Tiafoe. This year, they will go head-to-head with two superstars, Venus Williams and Taylor Fritz, respectively. Williams, who previously competed in Charlotte against her sister Serena Williams in 2006, brings a storied legacy and fan-favorite appeal back to the Queen City.
The double-header will take place on Thursday, Dec. 4 in Charlotte’s Spectrum Center. Fans are encouraged to sign up for pre-sale tickets now at CLTInvitational.com.
“Last year validated that Charlotte is a tennis city, and we’re thrilled to build on that momentum with the return of this unparalleled event,” said Will Pitts, CEO of CSF. “It’s an honor to welcome fan favorites Madison Keys and Frances Tiafoe to the Queen City once again, and to introduce top talents Venus Williams and Taylor Fritz to the Charlotte Invitational in what promises to be another unforgettable experience.”
In its inaugural year, the Charlotte Invitational drew over 16,000 fans, who were treated to elite play, celebrity appearances and unmatched hospitality. More information about this year’s event will be released soon.
